Look at what we’ve been doing at Brant Broughton Pre-School!

 

We’ve been having lots of fun at Pre-School since the start of the new school year in September.  We have welcomed back the children after the long summer holidays and we also had a few new starters.  

The role play area saw the arrival of a Pirate Ship in  September; the children dressed up as pirates and made special maps and telescopes to help them to search for treasure.

We have been enjoying the changes in the weather and the seasons, especially the windy days.  The children have been getting wrapped up warm in their coats and wellies and exploring with paper streamers, watching the wind blow them up in the air and playing in the autumn leaves!  

In October, we were very lucky to have a visit from the Bookstart Bear and the Lincolnshire Bookstart team who ran a story and rhyme session with the Pre-School and Reception class children.  Everyone really enjoyed listening to the stories, learning new songs and meeting Bookstart Bear himself.

October was also Halloween time and Pre-School raised a fantastic £171 at our Halloween Fun Day at Brant Broughton Village Hall.  The staff and committee would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone that joined us on the day and helped to    raise much needed funds for our outdoor provision.

We have got lots of Christmassy fun coming up in December at Brant Broughton Pre-School, including a Christmas Performance, Christmas Party and a special visit from Father Christmas.

 

We currently have spaces available now or from the new term starting in January 2011.  We offer a free taster session so that you and your child can come and experience Pre-School before they start.  

 

Morning or Afternoon sessions are available as well as Full Day sessions.  If your child is currently aged 3 and over they are entitled to 15 hours of free education a week!
