MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Sleaford and District Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity and part of a national advice network that values its 20,000 volunteers.

We are currently recruiting four volunteer roles, Receptionists, Telephone Assessors, Social Policy Campaigners and Generalist Advisors.  If you are seeking voluntary work, which plays an important part in the local community, and would be prepared to commit on a regular basis, we would love to hear from you.  We are offering free accredited training, the opportunity to use existing skills and develop new ones, meet new friends and ‘put something back’.  You would be part of an organization that helps solve over 5.5 million problems by contributing towards free advice to anybody on almost anything; from debt, housing and employment to benefit and

legal matters.

If you would like further info or informal chat on any of the above please contact KAREN WARNER on 01529 308422.

DO YOU HAVE PROBLEMS GETTING TO COLLEGE, WORK OR TRAINING!

Now there is a new, affordable transport service available for people struggling to get to work, college or training. Scooters are loaned out to residents across Lincolnshire for a set period of time at a reasonable rate. There is free servicing, safety checks, road tax and insurance. The project is a social enterprise working in partnership between Lincs County Council and Build a Future training centre.
